Yoga silences the fluctuations of the mind.

about us

"Sthiram Sukham Asanam" - the stable and comfortable way of practicing yoga. Following this principle and keeping in mind the limitations and comfort of our body during practice, at Sarvaanga, the prime focus is laid on breath in sync with the movements.

Yoga emphasizes on the significance of the mind-body connection. As we go through different phases of life and navigate through the ups and downs, we are impacted at different levels. It was at one such low phase that our teacher, Sundarambal aka Sunitha, started doing yoga. She noticed a considerable shift in her well-being, improved energy levels and gained greater clarity with consistent practice. This served as motivation to get trained as a yoga teacher in the prestigious Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandir (KYM), R.A. Puram.

The success of yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our friendships.

Deepa S.

Teacher,
Amirta Vidyalayam, Trichy.

I have been practicing Yoga for many years, through my own way since I learnt  yoga from various yoga trainers, but I have never paid attention  about my breath control & the postures. This is when  my friend Sundarambal called up and asked us to sign up for the Yoga session at evening, it was really a surprise. I never thought doing Yoga with friends would really happen.

She teaches in a systematic way, with great diligence and sincerity.  I'm a  fan of  her  asana sequence.  This one  hour I forget about other matters and indulge myself with my body. The class is commendable and she keeps motivating  to get the best out of myself.
